free curve friday: thank you for 10k!

i feel so humbled that my photography page hit 10,000 likes last week! i am so thankful for everyone's support and love towards my work that i just wanted to put a little something together for you all. here are a set of three new free curves for you to download and play around with:


click here to download your free photoshop curve "aurora"


click here to download "afterglow"

this free photoshop curve works best on washed out, backlit images. it deepens the shadows and adds contrast to the dull sun. play around with the opacity of this curve to make it harsher or softer.


click here to download "cold heart"

this curve works best on night-time, flash lit images. it works well on cooling down images shot in daylight too, try playing around with the opacity slider to change the harshness of this curve.

also, just a little side note: i've been getting a few emails and formspring/tumblr questions about this recently, so i thought i would address it publicly. it seems that someone has reported my free curves for absolutely no reason (as they did not violate copyright of the website i was hosting them with) and they were unfortunately taken down. so i am aware for the time being a few of my free curves from the past don't work. i've been very busy shooting lately, but i will try and get around to fixing it as soon as possible, so you have an online library of free curves you can come back to download at any time ♥

      that happens when you double click the downloaded curve to try and open it. please try following the instructions to install them properly! :)

      thank you! they should work with any version of photoshop. you need to make sure you follow the instructions to install them though - they don't work if you just double click on the downloaded file.
