  3. Thank you for all your curves, they help me a lot with my photographies (though I retouch them a little bit just because I don't think it's fair to use someone's work, and sometimes I feel like I'm stealing something!)

  7. This one worked but the other presets that are "actions" instead of "curves" aren't working for me... is there a reason you switched to the other kind? All of the atv files work but the atn ones are just really hard to work with, je suis tres confuse.

    1. well, when i release curves, i can only release the one adjustment layer with the set of curves and nothing else. with actions, it allows me to do something a little more fancy that involves a lot more steps that just one. the action records everything i do on one of my photos, then i save it, upload it, and you can download it and have the same steps play automatically on one of your photos.

      if you are confused about actions, i'm sure there are some youtube tutorials that will teach you the basics about them! it will change the way you work once you learn how to use actions :)

      hope this helps x

  8. I just spent two weeks with your blog pinned to my browser, slowly going through all the way to the beginning. Not only are you one of the very few to be helpful about photography but it's so sweet to see how much your boyfriend supports you with it and how you're evolving as a photographer on your own. You are so seriously talented I'd rather browse through your photos in print than the ones that make it into Vogue. There wasn't an image I didn't love and I'm absolutely buzzing with inspiration now. Just wanted to let you know that you are the best Julia! {ps. free curves fridays are the best(!) thing on the internet I've ever seen - thanks for sharing!!}
